About: Camille was hanging around an outdoor warming house and appeared way too friendly to be a feral stray. She is every bit a people person! She loves every person she meets and will sit on your lap as long as you will let her. Camille is one lucky little girl, as it was discovered that she had pyometra (an infected uterus) at her spay surgery. Had she not been spayed, she would have died. She was quite crabby with other cats in her foster home, so we anticipated her needing to be an only cat. But now after her surgery, and probably because she isn't in pain (which she never showed at all), she seems to be much better with other cats around. We have been bringing her to the rescue to get used to the place and she has been doing very well. So she probably could be in a home with another cat. She is very playful as well, so we hope that is true now so she can have a feline companion.
